Bio
Toronto-based Songwriter/Producer Dejasoul got the music bug early, singing and performing in school talent shows by his teens.
Influenced by the likes of BoyzIIMen, Dru Hill, Donell Jones, Brian Mcknight, Babyface and Fred Hammond; Dejasoul aims to continue the time-honoured R&B tradition of touching melodies coupled with relatable lyrics and topped off with modern production. He is best known for writing the modern R&B hit "Choice", with fellow Torontonian Aamir, among many other songs and covers.
Armed with immense lyrical ability and melody-driven grooves, Deja is suitably equipped to continue his mission of being an uplifiting alternative representing R&B in a sea of rapping singers and singing rappers.
